Since March when COVID-19 put the stay at home order into place OceanMHS had remained open. We did this with a combination of in-person and telehealth options.
We were able to offer telehealth due to some amazing support in the form of grants both local and federal in nature. It is because of this support we have been able to meet the demands of those suffering throughout the programs of OceanMHS.
OceanMHS has been awarded the following grants for telehealth:
- FCC COVID-19 Telehealth Program –Funded: $58,000.00. Laptop equipment for all community outreach workers for clients to see medical providers via telehealth/telemedicine from their home.
- Ocean First Foundation – $5,000.00 to purchase/provide telehealth agency wide due to COVID-19
- Toms River Family Health & Support Coalition – $2,500 to purchase telehealth equipment agency wide due to COVID-19
