Keeping Families Together – Trunk or Treat 2018

BY: Kathy Greene LCSW, MBA

Keeping Families Together (KFT) staff worked very hard to organize a costume swap and “Trunk or Treat” for all the wonderful families enrolled in their program.  The event took place on October 18th and was a great success.  We had children come in costume (some really original and creative costumes, I might add), and others looked through the overwhelming number of costumes we had in order to find the perfect one.  One young lady had four different costumes on throughout the event as she was having a great time just changing them out.  KFT would like to thank all the staff and friends of Ocean MHS for the fantastic costumes that were all  donated!  Our building looked like a Halloween store thanks to all of you.  We would also like to give a big thank you to Berry Fresh Farms in Brick for donating pumpkins for the children and their families to paint!!  And also to Target in Toms River! They continually overwhelm us with their generous donations to our program.  They were responsible for donating all of our trunk or treat candy!!
