Dear Friends:
Throughout fiscal year 2020, OceanMHS has continued its long-standing tradition of providing excellent, comprehensive behavioral health, addiction and primary care services to Ocean County. And in a world overrun by the COVID-19 pandemic, this has been no easy task.
During the first half of the year we celebrated another milestone as we entered our 60th year of providing the best behavioral health services to all of Ocean County. Having been designated a CCBHC and adding a Primary Care Clinic, all service programs at OceanMHS had adopted a fully integrated approach to the care of each individual client as they entered services, assessing mental health, addiction, and primary care issues together.
Of course, the events of the second half of the year were a shock to us all. However, even as the State was being shut down we were designated an “Essential Service” by decree of Governor Murphy. As the County’s leading provider of direct clinical services for Mental Health and Addictions issues, OceanMHS has kept our doors open for all services throughout the pandemic. Throughout the year we have balanced the continued delivery of top-quality services to all our existing and new clients with the goal of keeping all our staff and clients safe…
