Numerous things may cause stress or a disruption in a person’s life and routines. Without seeking help, their situation may become worse. Bright Harbor Healthcare’s outpatient mental health services are designed to address situations such as:

Traditional therapy and counseling often include talking through issues and looking at root causes of the difficulties people face. At Bright Harbor Healthcare, our therapists and staff offer Solution Focused Brief Therapy as an alternative to traditional therapy. This type of therapy focuses on identifying solutions. With Solution Focused Brief Therapy, therapists show people that they can learn new skills which can be used now and in the future to better cope with, and move beyond, the problems they face in their lives. Ideally, treatment should last about 8-12 sessions, and when completed, people will KNOW what they learned in the course of treatment.

Bright Harbor Healthcare accepts many third-party insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid. We also provide assistance for those who have financial difficulties.

Intensive Family Support Services
At Bright Harbor Healthcare we understand the importance of family support – as well as the anxieties and insecurities that can accompany that role. There are many factors that can affect the families who provide support to their loved ones with serious persistent behavioral health difficulties such as:
Isolation
Anxiety
Lack of knowledge or understanding
Inadequate communication
Financial distress
Limited family coping strategies
Concerns for the future
Intensive Family Support Service is a program of Bright Harbor Healthcare that provides education and support to Ocean County families who are caring for a loved one. This program is built on 25 years of experience in helping families provide the best care and support to their loved ones.
IFSS offers individual/family consultations, family support groups, and psycho-educational programs at no cost to families enrolled in this program.
