The 11th and 12th graders visited OCC for a presentation by Professor Barnes regarding the importance of being educated about government, politics, and the upcoming presidential election. Professor Barnes engaged the students in an interactive forum involving the politics of the presidential election, both political parties, their presidential candidates, and the debates were covered.  Professor Barnes noted the popularity of Donald Trump among college students.  

Professor Barnes also extended to OA students the opportunity to attend future talks given by local, state and possibly national politicians.  She believes Assemblymen Wolf will be speaking on Thursday, October 29th; the LT. Governor of NJ and Donald Trump are possible future speakers.
