One of the best things about where our beloved school is located is that we can look through the trees directly to an amusement park! So what better way to take advantage of that then a quick walk over to Blackbeard’s Cave twice this summer. The whole school gets together and walks over to the Bayville legend to enjoy a fun-filled day together. The biggest hit of course being the Go-Karts! Even Mr. Corbett got involved in the races until his car ran out of gas and he unfortunately (fortunately for the rest of us) had to bow out of the race. Mr. Austin led a teachers versus students competition in the Water Wars attraction and somehow he and Mr. Goldberg came out of it very dry. I would say they won! The trips were finished up with some rounds of mini golf, a first for some students. We are extremely lucky to have such a local icon next door to us!
