If you want to see a teenager smiling ear to ear with excitement and joy, then take them bowling at Playdrome in Toms River! Students at Ocean Academy could not stop talking about this  field trip for days leading up to it. Even though our students were very well behaved on the bus, I’m sure the quick 15 minute ride felt like a lifetime for them. When students arrived at the alley, students and staff quickly grabbed their bowling shoes and headed to their lanes. Students and staff then enjoyed two hours of friendly competition. Many students scored multiple strikes and spares, with Joey scoring a high score of 158! Students especially loved when the staff struck out against them. Looks like the staff can use some lessons from this kids! Overall, it was a terrific day for all and a great way to start the weekend!
