During Social Skills Mr. Berman’s class discussed the varying emotions we feel each day. Students also demonstrated the different facial expressions that portray these emotions. As a class the students further discussed how it is difficult to convey emotions through text message and how emojis are often used to help communicate these feelings. The class followed this up with a project of creating their own emojis and explaining what emotion they portray. The completed project is now being displayed on the bulletin board with a reminder that others may forget what we said, but they will not forget how we make them feel.
