Our CEO, James Cooney’s recognition of employees who go beyond the call of duty.
Recognition goes to Heidi Kluxen, MA, Family Preservation Program (Harmony) – Children’s Services. Heidi has been an extraordinary Family Preservation Services team member since January 2007. Heidi has her Master’s Degree in Psychology and has a great talent in stabilizing the families our program serves. The Harmony program has received consistent positive feedback on Heidi not only from the families we serve but also from our referral source. Despite the great demands and intensity of our program, Heidi makes herself available to help out wherever there is a need. This includes providing guidance and support to coworkers, assisting on a managerial level, and on an agency wide level, as she’s represents FPS at agency events and is serving as a member of the Ethics Committee. Heidi is self motivated, a strong team member, goes above and beyond in her work and is committed to excellence. Our program is very thankful to have her on our team!
I also want to acknowledge Pam Candurra and Tina Tuohy from the Finance department for the “tireless” work that they perform each year to get our agency’s budgets submitted to the various State and County offices. There is a great deal of detailed calculations, analysis, and checking involved to complete the budgets. They must be extremely accurate and insure at all times that we are in compliance with regulations during the process. In addition to annual budget preparation, Tina and Pam work with program staff and coordinators to answer questions and provide financial detail throughout the year.
