Today was the official ribbon cutting for the Genoa Healthcare pharmacy available onsite at Ocean Mental Health Services in Bayville. Genoa Healthcare specializes in providing pharmacy services for community mental health centers nationwide. According to pharmacist Dan Palmiere, “Our OceanMHS location is our 98th pharmacy and the 4th here in New Jersey.” He added, “We look forward to supporting OceanMHS clients. We provide a variety of prescription services, such as bubble packing, medication education, and mail order refills.”
The grand opening event included a ribbon cutting ceremony as well as a welcome luncheon and gift raffle. Genoa was even giving balloons to children at the Berkeley Center during the afternoon event.
OceanMHS CEO, Jim Cooney, commented, “It is a pleasure to offer these important services to our consumers. At OceanMHS we continuously strive to meet the needs of Ocean County and to provide services in the most helpful way possible. I know our consumers will benefit from having a pharmacy which is so easily accessible.”
