Tout are extremely sensitive organisms, that rely on high standards of water quality. Unfortunately, like many schools raising Trout in New Jersey this year, our population did not survive past fingerling stage. Thanks to volunteers and the Pequest Fish Hatchery, we have received a new batch of trout in the fingerling stage. We are looking forward to releasing the trout this spring at the Riverwood Park, in our own “backyard”!
