WAVE Cooking Class – Holiday Cookies!

At Ocean MHS, Adult Residential Services includes the WAVE Apartments. Residential Services are available for people with serious and persistent mental illness. The types of housing vary depending on the amounts and types of support a consumer has. From group homes with 24 hour support to scattered independent, low income housing, Ocean MHS strives to provide support so that people’s lives are enhanced and they successfully move toward long term, successful, independent living.

The WAVE Cooking Class is part of the life skills that the consumers are learning while participating and residing at OceanMHS. Baking holiday cookies (four different types of cookies: sugar cookies, Russian rocks, peanut butter, and oreo balls) is the perfect lesson for this time of the year, because let’s face it…you can never have enough cookies!
