This year the staff and students participated in creating a “Wreath of Gratitude.”  Beginning with the “Week of Respect”, students and staff recognized observed kindness and good deeds done each and every day in our school.  The observer generated a “glow report” fostering positive attention to the individual who in turn tied a fabric ribbon on a wire wreath which was hung on the main hall bulletin board .The OA community enjoyed recognizing others and watching the wreath grow week by week. By the end of the school year, the wreath had grown into a colorful calico collection of ribbons representing the staff and students of Ocean Academy.
