Kristen Sherbo was selected as our Health Care Hero on October 29, 2021. Kristen was nominated for the award by her supervisor in the Access Department, Sean K., and our Outpatient Department Supervisor Rob W. Kristen has been a dedicated employee at Bright Harbor Healthcare for over 14 years. Kristen fulfills a multi-faceted role in ensuring quality care is available to all community residents seeking care at Bright Harbor Healthcare. Kristen not only has an extensive knowledge of available services and programming at Bright Harbor Healthcare, she additionally is quite knowledgeable about other available community resources and services.

Kristen takes the time to listen to the needs of community residents, and work to ensure they are enrolled in care that best meets their needs. Kristen is described as going above and beyond her job responsibilities, consistently taking on new responsibilities without hesitation when asked. Kristen has extensive knowledge and skills that she lends to other programs in the agency so that can successfully carry out the agency mission and deliver the best care.  Kristen additionally assists in training new staff and developing new processes and workflows for the agency Access Department.
